Deloitte Minneapolis Practice Announces Relocation to 50 South Sixth Street

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ — The Minneapolis office of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, the city’s largest professional services firm, today announced it will be relocating its 900 person practice to offices from 120 South Sixth Street to 50 South Sixth Street in downtown Minneapolis. Under the new lease agreement with the Frankfort-based, open-ended real estate fund sponsor KanAm Grund, Deloitte will occupy 145,000 square feet in the building, on its top five floors, and should occupy the space by the end of 2008.

The new office provides Deloitte with the latest advances in business technologies, which will allow for heightened productivity and convenience. The space is designed as an open space environment, creating “neighborhoods” that are conducive to the teamwork and collaboration imperative to serving Deloitte clients. As a result of extensive internal research, many of the office design components provided in the new location are what Deloitte professionals said they needed to function better and feel more connected to the firm.

Ideally located on Nicollet Mall, the 50 South Sixth Street location offers partners and employees of Deloitte's Minneapolis office ideal proximity to expressways, restaurants, shops, theatres, professional sporting venues and other major corporations. Other amenities of the building include four restaurants, a coffee shop, banking services, a child care development center, convenience store and ample public parking.
