Congresswoman Betty McCollum Announces St. Paul Neighborhoods Receive $459,000 in Housing Grants
St. Paul, MN - February 13, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today, Congresswoman Betty McCollum announced that St. Paul neighborhoods recieved $459,000 in housing grants through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Affordable Housing Program (AHP). The funds will be used to rehabilitate and construct homes which will not only provide safe and decent housing, but also invigorate the local economy as construction and rehabilitation work begins.
State of Minnesota Receives $5.0 Million in Affordable Housing Funds
Des Moines, IA - December 28, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Communities throughout the state of Minnesota were recently awarded $5.0 million in affordable housing grants through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Affordable Housing Program (AHP). The 15 projects slated for completion with these grants will create 545 homes for lower income families. In total, FHLB Des Moines awarded $16.4 million to 57 projects.
Minnesota to receive $64.8 million for Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

PAUL, MN - October 29, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Minnesota Department of Commerce, Office of Energy Security (OES) today announced the state will soon receive its first installment of federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) funds for the Minnesota Energy Assistance Program (EAP).In its first release of funds for the 2011 program year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which funds LIHEAP, has allocated $64.8 million to Minnesota. Additional funds will be disbursed to the state throughout the program year.
