U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, along with U.S. Representatives Collin Peterson, Betty McCollum, Keith Ellison, Tim Walz, and Rick Nolan, sent a letter today urging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to protect water quality in Voyageurs National Park. In a letter, the lawmakers urged the USACE to include funding for the Voyageurs National Park Clean Water Project in the FY 2016 Civil Works Plan.

St. Louis County celebrates completion of Government Services Center

The $21 million renovation of the St. Louis County Government Services Center – the largest building project in the County’s history – is now finished. St. Louis County Board expected to approve 0% levy increase for 2016

St. Louis County Commissioners are preparing to vote on the maximum property tax levy for 2016, and based on preliminary discussions, the Board reinforced their commitment to holding the levy at the same level as this year: $116.6 million.
